The first impression of the brand-new 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge is very positive. This all-electric SUV was introduced a few days ago and it will go on sale later this year as a 2021 model. The new Recharge SUV is based on the compact XC40 SUV and both ones will share many cues. However, Recharge will differ in many things, and it`s powered with an all-electric powertrain that produces 402 horsepower. Moreover, thanks to excellent battery capacity, its driving range will be impressive, around 250 miles.
In terms of exterior design, the new Recharge will depart from the regular XC40. It will be more attractive and sporty. Besides that, the interior will mostly remain the same. In the same electric segment are models such as I-Pace, Audi e-Tron, and Hyundai Kona EV. So, we can expect a fierce battle.

It comes with a unique front fascia and it wears a flush surface instead of the grille because there is no need for extra cooling. The famous “frunk” will be available upfront, and because there is no engine, this model will provide more storage.
