The Toyota will continue production of the popular Sequoia SUV. According to the news, the new 2021 Toyota Sequoia is in the production stage and we can expect this model to arrive sometime in 2020 as the 2021 model. From the information that we got, the upcoming 2021 Toyota Sequoia will arrive with a redesign. However, it will not get a complete redesign, but it will get some minor changes.
If we look in the past, the first even Sequoia full-size SUV is present for almost ten years now. This model has made a boom on the market. Furthermore, the Japanese carmaker will continue to offer numerous trim levels and also different configurations. So, we can expect the TRD Pro model that will be released at the same time as the base model.
2021 Toyota Sequoia Exterior Facelift
The all-new 2021 Toyota Sequoia will be more attractive than before. This model will get some updates and its front will gain a new look. The first thing that will be redesigned is the grille that is wider and it looks very sharp.

Under the hood, the upcoming 2021 Toyota Sequoia will deploy the same engine as the predecessor. Unfortunately, there is only one engine again in the offer. The same 5.7-liter V8 engine.
However, the exact output is not yet revealed but we can expect some increase over the current one that provides 381 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The rear-wheel-drive configuration is standard, however, the buyers will also get four-wheel-drive as optional.
Furthermore, with the engine above, the new 2021 Toyota Sequoia can tow up to 7,500 pounds. Just to compare, the Ford Expedition that comes with the same dimension can tow 9,300 pounds.
2021 Toyota Sequoia Price and Release Date
According to the latest info, the 2021 Toyota Sequoia will get a slight price increase over the current one. The price of the base model can be expected to be around $50,000. However, the trim Limited will cost a thousand more as the TRD Pro.
The most expensive and most equipped is the Platinum that will easily go up to $65,000. The 2021 Toyota Sequoia will hit the markets later in 2020 as the 2021 model. The rivals of this model will be the Nissan Armada, Ford Expedition and Chevy Tahoe.
