The second one version is optional 1.5-liter turbo. This engine produces 190 horses and 180 lb-ft of torque and it provides 28/34 mpg. Both models come with front-wheel drive system as standard, while the all-wheel-drive setup is optional.
Diesel and Hybrid Rumors
There is a rumor that 2021 Honda CR-V will be offered with one diesel variant and one hybrid engine. The diesel type will use a 1.6-liter engine that will make 120 horsepower and over 200 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the hybrid is also rumored and it could easily happen in 2021. However, Honda refuses to provide further information about these engines.
Price and Release Date
The 2021 Honda CR-V will get some updates that will increase its price. According to the latest report, the new model will start at $26,500. This is the price for the base model that comes with limited equipment.
As for the release, the fans can expect this model to debut sometime in 2020 as the 2021 model. As before, the Honda CR-V will continue its battle with the models such as Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan Rogue.
