The new 2021 Chevy Bolt EUV crossover has been spied testing. The upcoming electric crossover is based on the iconic Bolt model. As you may already know, EUV means “Electric Utility Vehicle.” So, the new model will be all-electric. The test mule that is caught has been heavily camouflaged.
However, some parts are visible and at first glance, we can see similar styling as on the original Bolt EV model. Besides the same look, the new model will be equipped with a more powerful battery. It comes with a 70+ kWh package that can provide around 300+ miles on a single charge. Impressive, isn’t it? Chevrolet will release its new model by the end of this year with the starting price of around $40,000.
2021 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Exterior is Heavy Camouflaged
The forthcoming 2021 Chevy Bolt EUV is a subcompact crossover that will ride on the same BEVII platform as the regular Bolt model. Dimensionally, this unit is 164 inches long, 69.5 inches wide, and it measures a wheelbase length of 102.4 inches. However, the test mule that is caught is wearing a heavy camo and at first look, it wears the same styling as the regular Bolt model. The only difference that are we noticed is slightly raised suspension, slimmer headlights and plastic cladding around the wheel wells and doors.
GM is also announced the new platform BEV3 that will be used in the future on all upcoming models. The BEV3 architecture according to GM manufacturer, will be lighter and it would carry stronger engines.
The interior of the upcoming 2021 Chevy Bolt EUV will be more modern if we compare it to the current Bolt. So, we can expect significant upgrades inside the cabin and a higher level of comfort. Like the Bolt EV model, the new EUV will provide the same layouts inside. With 2-rows of seats, it can accommodate five passengers.
Additionally, we can expect a clean interior design packed with a modern infotainment interface. We can also expect a top score of safety because the EUV will feature a Forward-Collision Warning System, Automatic Emergency Braking, Child Door Locks, Stability Control, Pedestrian Detection System, Rear View Camera and so on.

The newest 2021 Chevy Bolt EUV is an all-electric version, that will provide excellent performances. According to the latest news, Chevrolet will use a stronger battery of 70+ kWh than on the standard model. A lithium-ion battery pack weighs only 947 lbs, and the manufacturer offers 8 years/100,000 miles warranty.
The upcoming Bolt EUV will be powered by a single motor system that will deliver over 200 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the powerful battery and economical electric motor, the Bolt EUV model will ride 300+ miles on a single charge. Charging is super fast thanks to the DC fast charger that can fille this SUV in one hour.
2021 Chevy Bolt EUV Price and Release Date
The attractive 2021 Chevy Bolt EUV will ride on the same BEVII platform as the regular Bolt model. However, the new SUV will get a more powerful battery and it will provide better range.
The price of this all-electric subcompact crossover according to some websites, may start at $35,000. Expect the Bolt EUV to be officially revealed sometimes at the end of this year as the 2021 model. Most likely, it will debut at the same time as the regular model on the 2020 Los Angeles Auto Show.
