The redesigned version 2021 Audi Q5 will debut sometime this year and it will come with three engines. The regular model will use a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 powertrain that is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch S Tronic transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Thanks to this powertrain, the new Q5 will produces 248 horses and 273 lb-ft of torque.
The next one powertrain has been joined the Q5 family recently. This version will use a plug-in engine that consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4/permanent magnet electric motor that is capable to deliver 362 horsepower.
SQ5 Powertrain Specs
The last engine powers the 2021 Audi SQ5 model. This high-performance model will use a turbocharged V6 that delivers stronger output than the base model. Basically, there will be 101 horses more or a total of 349 horsepower. Because there is more power, the upcoming SQ5 will use a new Tiptronic 8-speed automatic.
Release Date and Cost
The recently announced 2021 Audi Q5 will be released at some point this year. Also, at the same time, we can expect its high-performance SQ5 model. As you may even know, the price of the new model Q5 is still the same and (MSRP) of the base model is $44,300. However, higher trims will bring more premium materials, and the Premium Plus model starts at $51,000. Basically, the fully loaded model will be near $58,000.
SQ5 offers an aggressive approach and it comes with a stronger engine. This model starts at $53,900. Moreover, adding some optional features price of SQ5 can touch $70,000.
