The popular German`s SUV 2020 BMW X5 will get some exterior and interior changes. However, the previous model has been totally revamped and the new one will follow its steps. The fourth generation will get more technology, enhanced safety, and driver-assistance features.

The interior of the 2020 BMW X5 will be redesigned and now it looks more modern. The standard variant comes with two rows and seating for five passengers. However, buyers can also choose the more spacious version that will add the third row for an additional $2,200.
The standard model will be offered with a 10.2-inch high-resolution touch screen that is placed in the center. Also, the new and fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster is part of this offer as the navigation system, Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, and 10-speaker/205-watt audio system.
2020 BMW X5 Powertrain Details
The newest 2020 BMW X5 will be available with few engine options. The first one and the standard is lying under the xDrive40i. This engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that makes 335 horsepower. Its torque is 330 lb-ft of torque at 1,500-5,200 rpm.
This engine is connected to the 8-speed automatic transmission through the all-wheel-drive system as standard. Fuel economy is also good and this engine gives EPA city/highway fuel economy of 20/26 mpg. The diesel engine is not in the offer this year, but the manufacturer will continue to offer a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

According to the latest news, the upcoming 2020 BMW X5 will be also offered with the plug-in engine. This type of engine will be under the xDrive45e iPerformance model. The inline-six mill will power it and it can generate 286 horsepower. Also, the electric motor gives additional 112 horsepower to the front axle and makes to this SUV a total output of 394 horsepower and a whopping 443 pound-feet of twist. The engine is boosted if we compare it with the previous one that gives 308 horsepower and 332 pound-feet.

The new 2020 BMW X5 will also get M performance package. From the images that we got, the 2020 BMW X5 M looks better than ever. The manufacturer will add to this SUV more stylish alloy wheels and a new bumper that feature carbon fiber materials.
Also, the cabin of M trim will be more stylish than the standard one. It will get better sports seats, updated infotainment system with sat-nav, Bluetooth, plenty of USB ports and more.
Furthermore, under the hood, the M model will feature the same 4,4-liter V8 engine. The output from the latest update will be boosted and now this SUV gives around 600 HP. Moreover, the previous X5 M provided an output of 456 HP. With this output, the current model is capable to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3,8 sec. Furthermore, we can expect that the new X5 M gives better acceleration time.

The forthcoming 2020 BMW X5 will come with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a $62,000. This price will also include the destination charge. However, if you go for the much powerful model BMW X5 M that is V8-powered, the price will go up to $76,500.
